Alinao Bodies

Alinao Festival, our annual tribute to the lost tree of alinao on the mountains of our hometown Malinao, in the greenest region of Bicolandia, Province of Albay, is the only festival which is anchored on environmental preservation side-by-side with tourism promotion. Celebrated annually in keeping with our people’s observance of the town fiesta in honor of patron saints, Joachim and Anne, the Alinao Festival has become a tourist attraction which has successfully drawn attention from both local and foreign guests.

In this year’s celebration of the Alinao Festival, the Golden Anchor Productions Int’l and the major non-governmental youth group in Malinao, Uswag Kabataan Bicol Inc., are actually working on making the festival not only a vibrant celebration of life and laughter but also a truly memorable one; hence, we launched the Search for MR. & MS. ALINAO BODIES ’09, a bikini competition aimed in promoting healthy lifestyle among our youth.
